Middleton Township is located in the eastern part of Columbiana County bordering the state of Pennsylvania covering an area of 35.4 square miles. The population of Middleton Township as of the 2000 census was 3,741. The village of Rogers is located in northwestern Middleton Township, and the unincorporated community of Negley lies in the township's northeast.
Along with the nearby community of Signal, Rogers is home to Rogers Community Auction and Flea Market, one of the largest flea markets in Ohio on 70 acres with more than 1,600 vendor spaces, 350 which are covered. The market is open every Friday year-round and has an assortment of vendors including produce, clothing, novelties, and antiques. It is located off State Route 154. Other events at the market include auctions of household items, antiques,produce, livestock, hays and equipment/consignments.
